Faralya is located where red pine forests extend to the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea with a sweet slope, leans its back at Baba Mountains and stretches from Butterfly Valley to Kabak Bay gushing with history. Chosen by Times Magazine, one of Turkey’s six hidden paradise Faralya has dozens of interesting things to offer. Faralya is about 10 km south of Dead Sea (Ölüdeniz) and 25 km South of Fethiye. The area was originally called “Uzunyurt” which literally means “long country”. Lycian Way, which is among the top 10 hiking trails in the world, passes through Faralya and is waiting to be discovered with its nature, history, esteemed vegetation and forests.
